更改系统名称

问题描述

我得到了一个旧的Ubuntu操作系统，并且以前的用户使用了他的名字，所以开始把它改成我的名字，因为到处都打他的名字很烦我。我试过了：

$ usermod -l hussain darhamid

这将darhamid@darhamid:$变成hussain@darhamid:$

但是我想要hussain@darhamid：$也更改为hussain@hussain。我该怎么办？

您还必须更改计算机的主机名。

编辑主机名文件并替换名称

gksudo gedit /etc/hostname

也更改主机名称

gksudo gedit /etc/hosts

保持其他东西不变。

对于用户名，如果删除旧用户并创建新用户，它将更干净。

次佳解决方案

您必须编辑/etc/hostname和/etc/hosts，并将旧的主机名替换为新的主机名。

PS：再三考虑，我可能只是重新安装以获得一个干净的系统。

第三种解决方案

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Input the following command and hit Enter: gksudo gedit /etc/hostname

3. When prompted, enter the administrator password and click the OK button.

4. The hostname file will open, displaying the current computer name. Replace the current computer name with the desired new name.

5. Click Save.

6. Close all open windows and restart your system.
